Devon 2 tone
Hi all
My vans away at the moment being restored and soon it will be ready for paint. Has anyone got a original 2tone Devon that can tell me what the paints like inside is it still 2tone? Where the colours change or are they just the one colour on the inside?
Cheers
Chris

Re: Devon 2 tone
My 82 devon pop top was Elfenbein (creamish) on the inside and Chianti Red (deep rich red ) on outside. The cream came down as far as to include the sliding door mechanism cover. The red went inside door shuts along the wheel arch touching the rubber mat and up to waist height level with sliding door mech. cover line. It was a great coulor combo and looked very retro.

Re: Devon 2 tone
All devons now are vino red as it was there colour scheme. Most devons are a cream /saharah beige over cream mine was but not for me . The inside is the origional colour of the van and not 2 tone but it is up to you how you play it

Re: Devon 2 tone
Mine's Cream and brown, although I have to admit i'm only assuming that's the original colour scheme as the V5 only states Cream as the colour.

I'd actually like to know the paint codes as the paint I've put on the arch panel and the front panel don't seem to be a good match.
Dave.

I don't know, it came in a mystery tin along with some of the cream colour but was provided by the company who did the last respray when they 'Repaired' the roof. The dried paint around the top of the can looks to be the right colour, but when I've thinned it down and sprayed it on, it looks a different colour.
