Body Work and Mechanic recommendations - Hampshire

Post by magpiebobby »

Hi all,

I've just moved to Winchester, Hampshire and I'm looking for a local garage to service my Dehler Bluestar - any recommendations gladly received. Having been reversed into by a kindly drunk old lady I also need some body work repairing -and a new off-side driver's door pod if anyone has one - as the insurance company can't source it.
I've done a forum search but can't see any other threads.

Thanks,

Robin

Is salisbury close enough for you?
Why would the glass be anything other than half full?

Hi,
Try Sandydown Bodyworks, we have used them on a car and it was good. One day the van will go there too. (0)1264 810 757.

Not far from Winchester. Not sure if they service though.

Try Martin at Springhill garage in Bishopstoke for the mechanical stuff, it's about 20 mins from Winchester. He is pretty knowledgeable on T25's and all other types of Transporter. I use him for anything mechanical on my van, the wifes Golf and my Passat. He loves his Dubs and is an honest bloke.

Wayne at Tip Top body shop out in Bishopstoke is brilliant... 02380 600077 - good price, good work, excellent paint matching! Only about half hour from Winch too :D
