Wax on, wax off.

Post by Pablo85 »

Hi,

I tried search for the word wax to find the answer to my questions but it said there were no results??

Anyway, Just finished the new paint job and need some recommendations for a good quality wax to keep the water/rust at bay!

Thanks.

So...
What's the difference between wax and polish?
Presumably polish has a very mild abrasive to cut down the road film etc, and contains wax to repel water and give a shine. And wax is just the repel and shine agent on it's own.

What's the best treatment(s) to add luster to your cluster?

Just wash it once a month in a canuba based shampoo wax. ALDI do it (central aisles). Amazing stuff - gives a great shine with almost zero effort and shrugs off the dirt. If you want to work, Mer is excellent.
