I've been thinking of replacing the whole interior too, but if your doors are reasonable I could live with the existing carcasses. So please look after them a bit before you toss them.

*bump*
Are you still planning to change your cupboard units? I'm still interested in your old ones.

Hey guys,
Been very busy, heres the latest -
We've stripped EVERYTHING out for refurbishment and repainting.
The black stuff was difficult to remove.
Noticed this bit of rust on the side. There's also alot of black gunky stuff around the area, is this a bad sign??
Next up is to re-do the floor and put everything back again.

Hey guys,
We've now finished the deconstruction phase of the refurb, however one of the window seals is brittle and totally broken away.
Does anyone know of any videos/diagrams on how to change the window seals?
Thanks

Great work so far.
We've recently acquired a T25 so should start a blog of our trials and tribulations too.
Am looking forward to stripping ours down.

Hi Dissc
We are going through the same process with a 1985 Viking top, and have an almost identical hole in the floor over the offside sill.........would be interested to know how you were planning to tackle this?

Ermine is right that is the whole for the waste water pipe.
Taking a while to get samples in for the interior, soon the camper will be going in for a full treatment at the garage.
When that's done we can finally continue work!

Re: My first T25 - Reconditioning blog
Hows this going? any updates? I'm in a similar position at the moment with my Viking.....
Re: My first T25 - Reconditioning blog
Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been extremely busy recently!
So we decided to leave the black gunky stuff, then we sent the van to a local garage we know, this was to treat all the bits of rust and corrosion that was deemed necessary.
Once the van was back my dad set to work rebuilding the furniture in a slightly more modern style.
My dad did a great job..
We then sent all the tacky furniture off a a bit of a restyle, I tried to go for a retro look but it still looks very modern!
The van in all its current glory!

I've made a video of me starting the van,
I would like anyone who knows a thing or two about engines to have a look.
Just give it to me straight - if its buggard just tell me.
