My first T25 - Reconditioning blog
After a rather large let down of a viewing, me and my dad decided to check out a local T4 campervan conversion company known as "Bilbos" just to ask some questions and get an insight into the camper scene. We asked if they ever get any older campervans through their stock that would be worth viewing and is if by fate the salesman took us around the back and showed us an old T25 that had just been brought in by a kind old man.
With all original interior and no massive visable rust marks, only 57,000 miles on the clock and one owner buying the camper for £3250 seemed like a no brainer.
The camper was fully furbished 4 berth with the 1.9l watercooled petrol engine.

Re: Was this a good buy - My first T25
Does it have the large pop top that lifts up and the base extends sideways over the sliding door and does it have a flip up buddy seat behind the passenger seat? Cos I think that might be a slightly altered Xplorer interior. What year is it?

1664,
yes it has the large pop top that goes up sideways and the flip down buddy seat behind the passenger seat
considering keeping the whole thing retro and not straying too far from the original design, just get some new captain seats in the front and clean it up a bit.
one very happy young camper !!!

I'm not sure how long they made that conversion for - latest I'd seen was about '83. The interior is the same layout but the sink and cooker are different from the early ones. Very nice conversion though and certainley looks like you've landed on your feet there, enjoy!!

Keep the seats. They are brilliant. And they match the curtains.
It's a bargain. I paid much more for a lot less.

That looks really good, it looks from the pics like a bargain
You have to keep those seats !! (if they fitted in with my interior I would be saying fit the captain seats and sell those to me, but they don't because mine is grey). Aye, keep it as retro
If it does not have much rust, then you have done well, and from a company who should have known it's value
