Early coolant pipe needed

Post by Donald360 »

Hi

I'm trying to get hold of a replacement for a very rusty and scabby metal coolant pipe for my 1985 1.9DG WBX. It is the one highlighted in this diagram - any ideas what it would be called and where I might get one?

025 121 081 C  for DF and EY engine codes
025 121 081 D  for DG

unobtanium new I think, you need to put up a wanted ad and contact the breakers, Mick VWNW, Partsemporium etc..

They are all rusty and scabby but unless you're prepared to pay a good welder to fabricate up a copy I'd prepare myself to live with it.

The original pipe was still sound, just rusty. Here is it all cleaned up and looking pretty.
