Nice one Aidan, thank you, that makes sense -

As the snag has kept changing (and it was running fine-ish before) I haven’t been looking at the basics like plugs and leads - worth a look or am I barking up the wrong tree?

basics always good to check, and service items replaced if they are a couple of years old and the old ones kept in vehicle for spares
