Hi everyone, before I tackle changing the oil pump seal, I thought I'd ask if there are any typical surprises to look out for when getting access to it? I believe I have to remove the main crank wheel/pulley first? Can I replace the oil pump seal without having to drop the engine down?
I've just done a big BW order of coolant pipes/hoses etc with the aim of renewing everything, so since the water pump pulley wheel has to come off, I thought I'd see if the oil seal was where my persistent annoying oil drip is coming from.
thanks!

Oil pump seal change
Oil Pump Gaskets (x2). Some folk advise x1 gasket and seal the other interface. You'll read that on another thread somewhere.
Support the engine and take the engine carrier bar off.
Get yourself an oil pump puller.
That's about it.
