Leaking rocker covers

Post by Jakew1610 »

Hey.

So the other day my t25 2.0 air-cooled was in for some engine maintenance to get it running better.
The rocker covers were removed to check the valve clearances and now its home and both rocker covers on both sides are leaking oil.

Is this something normal for new gaskets being fitted to the covers? Will it slow up and disappear after a few days? Or should I take it back to the garage as there is an issue there?

Thanks

Seams to be a bit of a theme relating to this issue at the moment, have a search of recent posts as another member has been having a similar problem and has been given advice.  But if it started since the garage removed them I would get back to them anyway. Found it have a look at this.
