Hi
I'm in the process of adjusting the valve clearenaces on my 1.6JX. I've managed to remove the shim from the valve that is out and have measured it using the micrometer The shim is measuring 3.91mm in the centre of the shim but this increases to 3.945mm towards the edges of the shim. Any advice on which measurement I should use when calculating the size of replacement shim required ?
Thanks
Bob

When you measure the gap the feeler gauge goes in the middle of the shim, so that's the measurement to use
Was the gap far out?
