Rear wheel play

Hi guys and girls just hopeing you can Steer me in the right direction just changed my rear drive shaft and wheel bearing on drives side only to fine out I still have play in the up and down position none from left to right.Before I take it a part again what is the most likely part to go could it be the stub axle or the carrier or something else any help will be appreciated

There is supposed to be a small amount of movement top to bottom.

Search on here, you'll find loads of comments

Correct. They are C3 clearance bearings designed to be correct when hot.
