Wouldnt it be great to be able to buy a good complete drive shaft?
BW have me on their waiting list, has anyone got another idea..
What are we looking for, whats the real deal?
If its not available here are we shopping in Germany or what?
Drive shafts, availability and choice..

Thats just amazing...
Is that the vast choice now,
any one of those?
I have no real idea whats what.
You like to discern a little?
Thanks profusely!

Re: Drive shafts, availability and choice..
I couldn't say, I still use old genuine refurbished cvs and boots from the days when a complete rear driveshaft was £10-25 at any VW show, some would be foobarred some would be fine, pot luck but they were all original VW Lobro made in Germany CVs that were possibly better than anything we can buy now

That was my memory..
and of all the listings my gut said LOBRO,
but it has GKN in the writing too..
I couldnt remember if GKN was a safe brand.

Re: Drive shafts, availability and choice..
Lobro are now just a brand name of GKN, I believe, used to be LOHR & BROMKAMP GMBH; GKN Driveline acquired a lot of companies in the 80's and 90's to become a huge world player in CV joints etc...

Re: Drive shafts, availability and choice..
I have ordered what I could from BW its a JP CV kit I think.
Otherwise whats available is the whole shaft, JP again, through JK,
Or whole drive shaft made by Q1-PART (anyone heard of them?)
I am tempted to go for the JP, if only because BW does sell it..
cant be tooo bad?
