Accelerator Pushrod
It’s there a trick to fitting these? I’m currently trying to do so from in the van into the linkage. What I have noticed is my replacement part is slightly longer and I’ve had to file it slightly to even get it remotely close to going through the hole in the linkage?

Re: Accelerator Pushrod
Are they different? Oh. I didn’t realise there were different ones… is the auto one longer?
Just checked, part number appears to be for the manual version.

Auto ones are rarer than a rare thing. I searched everywhere for one not long back and had to use a manual one in the end.

Re: Accelerator Pushrod
Yep, have been and it's helping but it just won't go in on any angle. It's not far off, I'm of the conclusion I've just got a poorly machined replacement, and I've a bit more filing of excess material to go so it will slip in. I've ordered another that looks to be better quality so will hold off til that arrives and compare the two.

Re: Accelerator Pushrod
Just to round this one off, yes, it was a poorly finished pushrod. I have filed the excess material down and now all appears to be hooking in and moving as intended
