Hi all,,
As per picture, does anyone know what this spring is for.
It seems to apply pressure to nothing
Maybe a part is missing, there is no runner bump stop in the channel either by the looks of it.
Sliding door rail,, spring on the rear of channel???

I think it is for dampen resonance when the door is shut.
One of the horizontal bearings hits it when the door is slammed

Oh, I've been facing almost the same problems with sliding door. Then I've started reading articles about sliding doors and how to maintain them properly, so I've found this great resource ( site: https://mutually.com/home-life/2020/08/ ... nefit-you/ ), and could purchase the exact model of sliding doors that was looking pretty awesome in my personal exterior design of the house.
