Ethanol free fuel...... depending on location

Post by ash1293 »

Came across this recently and noticed Esso supreme 99ron unleaded is ethanol free in some areas of the country.

Not saying ethanol on fuel is bad, but we all know it’s not that kind to older fuel lines etc.

That's really useful information, especially as I have several classics that stand long enough for the ethanol to cause issues.

I believe the ethanol content goes up to E10 in unleaded from September and 97 super will remain E5 or less with the 99 Ron Esso which is good news.

I’ve always used Super in my bus and she does seem to run very well on it.
