Accelerator push rod has popped out

Post by Cataldoodledoo »

Hi, I unclipped the push rod from the pedal to install some new carpet, but then the push rod came loose and I’ve been able to just pull it into the cab.
How do repair this? Can I just ‘pop’ it back in?
Thanks, 1985 early 1.9 manual water cooled.

Thanks. So push down through the hole in the cab floor and then to the left (RHD)? I think I see a hole where it came from...

You could remove the right indicator lens for a better view.

Thank you. I did read that, and also it may give me a better view of seeing if it just did ‘pop out’...
