Which sensor kicks in the cooling fan ? Mine has been working fine but decided to go on the blink today.
Normally kicks in bang on half way on the gauge until today I was running the engine up on the drive and usually when the fan kicks in I turn it off .
Today no fan kicking in . Any ideas ?

Re: Electric cooling fan
It is a thermoswitch on the front of the radiator. First check the fuse has not blown

Re: Electric cooling fan
Not sure if connected, but when I test mine stationary, I normally let the fan engage then runs its course allowing it to switch off automatically then switch the engine off.
