Not sure what this is...?

Not sure what this is...?

Assume it connects to the second water pump (which seems to be leaking at the join with the pipe). Is this normal for a diesel (my previous petrol model did not have this)?

I’ve also got discovered that the temp gauge needle seems to have been punched in so cannot move and am wondering what horrors may await.

Any pearls of wisdom appreciated.

Cheers.

Looks like someone has removed the rear heater.

That is where the rear heater matrix was plumbed in, you can remove the tee pieces underneath and just use straight joiners then you can seal the holes with blind grommets. The rear heaters tend to leak as they age so get removed.

Ah, I see. Yes, I’ve just been removing what I presumed was an old heater unit to put a Webasto in (brilliantly supplied by Oldiebut goodie...)

Thanks, both.

Now to fret about the temp needle!
