Solex pdsit carbs
Evening all,
Should there be anything in this hole? It looks like it has a thread but in every picture I see and including my own it is empty.
Cheers

Re: Solex pdsit carbs
There a clip on some to hold the air intake on , it would have a shape on the filter , does yours have rubber or plastic ends at the carb ?
Re: Solex pdsit carbs
This is mine prior to being cleaned. It looks like there’s a thread inside and it threw me!
Mine are rubber if you’re referring to the pipes that seal over the carb. Someone has used a cable tie previously to keep it on.
Cheers

Re: Solex pdsit carbs
The rubbers you have just push onto the carb , the clip isn’t needed on yours , if the ends were plastic then then clip would be used
Re: Solex pdsit carbs
That’s one more question ticked off the list!
Many thanks

Hi Cookie,
I agree that that the port is confusing. To confirm that on my PDSITS with rubber air hoses nothing connects there - photo below.
Hope the set-up goes OK.
