Re: Drive flange oil seal
sorry I don't know what brand they were from JK last time I bought some a couple of years ago, but stock changes all the time; the Elring are always the same, also available from Autodoc and elsewhere, 277.525 is the Elring part number, Brickwerks usually the cheapest UK supplier
Re: Drive flange oil seal
OK thanks just waiting for them to come from Brickwerks

Re: Drive flange oil seal
SpeediSleeve is the easiest repair solution - I am guessing this is the left side flange ?
I have them in stock cheaper than Brickwerks genuine SKF

Re: Drive flange oil seal
left side is the short side of the diff so the flange wobbles more, tired old worn cv joints exacerbate it and the seals when old and dirty are hard and rough, slight weep isn't the end of the world, but if it's dripping on your drive then worth sorting
Re: Drive flange oil seal
OK cheers we'll its not dripping yet so I will leave it for now thinking about it I'm not sure I like the idea of the speedi sleeve so I may bite the bullet and get new so I maybe in contact In the near future cheers again.

Re: Drive flange oil seal
Speedisleeve is a really good solution 0.11mm thick, no tools required, they come with a tool that you can just gently hammer on and in this instance no need to remove the installation lip of the Speedisleeve, as long as you lube the lips of the seal before installation of the flange no problem at all
Re: Drive flange oil seal
OK cheers for all the advice I will see how it goes for the next few weeks before I make my Decision on which way to go cheers again
