Hi hi can someone confirm whether this is right just dismantle gear stick only to find this little black plastic thing at the bottom on all other diagrams I've seen I've never seen this little black thing is it right or wrongImage

Is it some sort of repair to a previously snapped part of the stick or extension.

that looks like the spacer sleeve that's fitted as part of a short shift kit, should just slide off the stick, maybe previous owner just pushed it to the bottom if they couldnt get if off

Yes that's part of a short shift kit, and it's in the right position

Thanks for the replies guys just looked up what a short shift kit was now I know what it is its all there so I will leave it on thanks again
