Snapped bleed nipple.. what are my options?

Snapped bleed nipple.. what are my options?

Hey guys.

As per title... bleeding the brakes... the bleed nipple on the rear wheel has snapped inside... how annoying.... what options have i got here before i start crying....

Replace the slave cylinder , if you cannot remove the broken nipple .

In the past I have bled from the union into the wheel cylinder.
This was in an emergency as a new cylinder is only £15 or thereabouts.

Makes sense. Is it a case of just taking drum off... swapping them over??

Taking cylinder out brake line snapped. Ffs

Cylinder swapped. New shiny nipple.. New brake line one ordered... what next...

I was talking from experience lol as many will be aware . One thing usually leeds to another .

I only did the backs as i thought i might aswell check if the whole system needed bleeding after changing the front calipers...wish i hadn’t bothered.... its cost me a fortune in postage for parts for a constantly added list of parts...
