Good luck, although i have repaired in the past, I replaced mine with a new one which I bought on line, but there is a temptation to repair and fix which is the nature of these vehicles.

If the piston is that tight you may have a deformed bore due to overheating - depends upon how far the heat travelled. I have always replaced calipers/cylinders on brakes for best results.

Update..

Have replaced both pistons on the front brakes. The dust seal on offside had perished so i thought why not..

Very long and boring story short i decided to bleed the whole system... snapped bleed valves on back and had to replace rear cylinders and brake lines...

Anyhow, everything back on tight, bled system 1 wheel at a time until no bubbles. I have one of those 1 man kits with the non return valve.. but now i have a really soft brake... and travels a lot...

Any ideas
