Front shock absorber fitting

Did this today. Struggled to fit the new ones until I worked out to knock out a collett on one side of the bottom mounting. This allows the sleeve through the bottom bush to see pushed up and the bolt will draw the collect back in as you tighten it. Oddly Haynes makes no mention of this. Not the first time Haynes has let me down. Sorry, forgot to the a picture.
