Hi there, I have a 1989 1.9 DG I'm a total noob and I am trying to find out which antifreeze to put in it.

The Hayens Manual says G11, the justkampers website says G12, as does this forum post - the only thing everyone agrees on is that it's super important to get the right one! Can anyone help?

I use Comma Super coolant concentrate (blue), don't mix the colours ie red with blue.

Taken from the web. You can use either.
The G13 has the same exceptional cooling and antifreeze performance as G12++, but it is manufactured using glycerin. Glycerin is much less harmful to the environment than glycol. The G13 is also excellent for cooling and protection against corrosion and chalk deposits.

I also use and only ever have used comma super coldmaster . But if you are doing a complete change , make sure you flush out between , and if you are topping up , you must use the same as is in there already , because if you mix coolants , it could turn to porridge consistency mush if they react ....

you cannot mix types !
