Grease or Lubricate parts of the Carburettor???

Should I Grease or Lubricate parts of the Carburettor when re-building?
I greased the choke parts and it seams to make it worse, only opens slowly on the spring!
Like the parts in the choke mechanism? The shaft that has the choke plate?
