Signed some paperwork today in fact. Contract and Deed etc.
HMRC via second home SDLT are getting a nice wedge from us for being socially caring citizens and renting (well below area rental yield l may add) a second property to a local housing benefit tenant, and doing the district councils job for them. So that's my syncro gone...
Some time late April is on the cards for house move.
Ive not seen the engine for three months. Its buried under tons a junk as we sort out what we want to keep and what is charity shop stuff....when they reopen that is!
We are not camping til Sept. So hopefully in between paint sloshing l may pull the leaky 2.1.
Keep it under yer hat...but lve already been camping this year. Stayed in the courtyard at my sister's farmhouse for one night. Purely business of course :D Freezing cold night. But had the heated blanket plugged in. So nice and cosy.

You had to sell a syncro, or you can't afford to buy one now ?

I'm sure you know, but you have 3 years to sell previous property & recover SDLT premium

Just a bit of a moan how much stamp duty we are paying cos we also own a one bed flat. Yes three years is correct. Then its capital gains tax to consider. Get screwed either way.
