Hi all,
Recently sold my beetle and upgraded to a T25. Having the usual new vehicle teething issues as I find out what has and hasn’t been touched in the last 40 years.
I’ve got some pretty good oil leaks coming through my push rod tube seals. I’ve done this replacement job on my old beetle before with the sprung/adjustable tubes which allows you to leave the head in situ. I can’t for the life of me find any of these style tubes for a CU engine, has anyone seen any anywhere? Or know if any of the tubes specified for other engines would fit? Or is it possible to change the tubes on a CU engine without removing the head?
Was hoping to go camping this weekend...
Since buying the Van I’ve found this site absolutely priceless so thank you all already for all your help!
