1985 T25 Ignition Upgrade

Hi all I have a 1985 T25 just wondering if it is worth upgrading it to an electronic ignition.

Not sure how I check what engine type I have beleive it to be a DG.

How can I tell and what do people recommend.

I have heard that people do twin carb / exhaust conversions etc.

My van has now been off the road for 3.5 years first with the body shop and now stuck at proud 2 pop for the interior, been stuck up there since the lock down..

All petrol  T25 Have electronic ignition as standard, has yours been subject to muppetry ?
