Good! I like Devon. Either OP couriers box, or l'll collect and deliver to Wavertree for fuel money. ☺️

Thanks to everyone who came up with info on auto transmission refurb, it is reassuring to know that others have been down the same path.  By a stroke of luck I found a company locally who new their way around a T25 auto box / torque converter and had overhauled many over the years, I was almost speechless and drove it there straightaway!
Van is now up and running smoothly with a transmission that will, apparently, outlast me.
Unfortunately  I am selling it after ten years ownership as I recently bought a South African T3. I am sure I will regret selling the Auto but also wanted to try something new.  I will do a Sales post on here when I get a minute
The guys who rebuilt the auto transmission are : Cornwall and Devon Transmissions at Lee Mill - between Ivybridge and Plymouth.

Cheers

Could be handy, Wavertree said they don't do T2 transmissions (which I'm looking at to get round ULEZ, problem is that I prefer T25s). Don't know why as it's basically the same.

Probably best bet. Looking at current Prices I think I sold mine below market. A nice family bought it so I’m not going to cry over spilt milk. I didn’t realise all LTs were manual when I sold mine. An LT was plan A. Probably moving outside Ulez now anyway! However I don’t think it’ll be that long before it extends to the m25
