North east engine replacement

Post by Negativegravity »

Just been out for a spin in the van and we have developed a significant oil leak somewhere. It is catching on the exhaust and causing smoke. I’m waiting for the engine to cool down so I can take a better look at where it’s coming from, but it got me thinking about a replacement.

We currently have a 1.6 non turbo which is very underpowered and this could be a good opportunity to upgrade to something with a bit more oomph.

Can anyone recommend a place that does engine replacements in the north east? We are based near Newcastle

Cheers

Try Paul Weeding (he's on here)

Never used him, tends to focus on the type 4 engine stuff, but got to be worth a chat, based in Heddon On the Wall
