LPG and Timing?

Post by sump »

Hi all or none!

Been running my 1.9 DG for some time now and thanks for all the help from you guys so far. :D

Van is now going but I'm still not convinced it's running as well as it should do

I've tried setting the timing as spec and slightly advanced for LPG but doesn't seem to make much difference. What do you guys do?

Look forward to hearing :rofl

Do you run on lpg more than petrol?
If you are going to run majority of the miles on LPG you can advance it to about 7.5° . But you will then need to run on SuperUnleaded when you do use petrol .

It makes just a enough difference . However it should run fine at 5° .

It’s more likely to be a air leak or poor spark playing with your running than timing , unless it’s way out

Hi

Yes I run on LPG mainly only use petrol as a reserve really as not everywhere around here sells gas unfortunately.

I"ll try your settings and see how I get on.
