This "heritage range" is new? I hope the purple ones I bought wont be a problem at the local "MOT" inspection as I could not find any E certificates for them.

Yes, the heritage range is new.
When we originally commisioned these I asked for them in black and they said it was possible but too much hassle as they had to basically stop production, clean everything, waste material just to swap the colour.
I've jokingly been asking for this for years but in the grand scheme of things the T3 bushes are such a small part of their business they weren't going to do it.
Seems like some of the big boys in the tuning world must have been asking too and it's finally happened.
They are not quite 100% black, a very very dark grey, they look a lot nicer, never really been a fan of the purple to be honest but it was what it was, glad they have seen sense!
Still the same lifetime warranty, if they fail, send 'em back and you get new, in honestly in the last 15 years or so we've sold them it's happened a handful of times, very reliable product.
With the heritage style new steering rack bushes now in my sticky hands (thank you B/werks) l had a preliminary look under camper. Ive changed non PAS before, but this looks far more challenging!
The PAS pipes to rack are all solid pipes. So unlike non PAS its not a simple case of unbolting x4 and pulling rack away from chassis to remove old and insert Powerflex alternatives. I just cant see how the rack will give enough to fit the bushes on the back side of rack. It might even be easier to fit original type instead...they can be pushed in from the front.
Not sure where to start. But it looks as if removing track end rod bushes from steering knuckle may help? Or the steering rod to coupling?
Any pointers from others' on here would be appreciated.

Stop being a fanny and get it jacked up, on stands and the rack unbolted, you'll be surprised how much them move on the pipes.
Worst bit is what condition your PAS pipes are in.. in fairness the front section is usually okay, it's toward the rear where they tend to go.
Unbolt the rack and just push them out from the back with a pry bar, some penetrating oil will help, pry from the cross member.

Or you wont get your disc's back!
