sooo I had a 1y engine at my disposal. It was in a scrap van that was dumped at my property. Closer inspection of this engine revealed a cracked block...
My question is this, Did all vw caddy vans have this 1y engine or was it between certain years? What else in the vw line up had a 1y? Am i right in saying all seat incas had it?

If you don’t mind my asking where did you get this? I’m wondering is there a similar one for seat?

It was also used in the Audi 80 from 08/89 to 12/91 according to Wikipedia.
