hi guys what rads are you using for your charge cooler?

At the moment I’ve installed and old heater Matrix rad which fits in front of the cooling rad lovely but it’s not ideal as the in/ out tails are above each other and I want the either side of the rad so the heat is flowing across the rad

1.9DG - 1.9AAZ diesel conversion :ok

Oohhh get you ! I wouldnt expect anything else living in Surrey lol !!

Where do you get a custom rad made ? I wouldn’t have thought a rad place would be interested in a 1 off. Tomorrow I’ll have a measure up for the cinq rads, as I’ve got a date with a public house this afternoon so it won’t get done today lol :ok

i was very lucky and got offered one by a guy on here, it was a one off thing.

The cinq rad fits perfectly between the two upright bars, dead cheap, the reducing elbows to get the hose size down to what your using will likely be more expensive.
Enjoy the pub!

I’m currently using the Fiat Rad - it’s tight but it works reasonably well.

I looked at gettinG a rad made to the spec of the one Lloyd is using. I was quoted well over £400 to have it made up - which whilst I didn’t think was terrible given the work involved, was £400 more than I had to spend at the end of my conversion... I picked the Fiat one up for £10 on eBay BNIB.

Just a quick update ! Cinq rad bought from eBay £25 new ! A couple of silicone hose reducers £5 ish all fitted !, It was really tight but it’s in and it’s working well so now I can start winding up the boost , next thing on the list is to make a custom dash for my clocks as my PCB ribbon is knackered my smaller steering wheel hides the speedo and my analogue clock doesn’t work ! So I’m going to look at possibly moving the speedo over to right keeping the fuel gauge though and adding my 52mm gauges around it - oiltemp, boost, egt :ok

Thanks everyone for your input ! :ok
