Hi.
I'm new to this forum.
I have a 1988 1.6TD T25 campervan which has been fitted with a 1.9 1Y diesel engine from a golf. Whoever did the conversion has left the manifold and turbo from the original 1.6TD van on it.
Will this work ok or will it cause problems with engine. It seems to run ok at the moment.
What manifold would be best to use I fit to get rid of the turbo. The fabrication from the new manifold to the current exhaust box would not be a problem.
1Y exhaust manifold
Big lumps of metals and spanners. Including servicing and fluids.
