1.6d - 1Y - Alternator bracket Question

Just after some quick advice for anyone who might have done this swap

I am planning to use the 1.6d CD alternator and water pump - The alternator bracket fastens on but just doesn't seem fully flush - yet another person who has done it is using theirs fine.

Is there something im doing wrong - is there a issue is it does sit fully flush on the water pump - im not sure if Im doing something wrong

Any help appreciated
