I recently sold my t25 as was to small for family now have a t4 compass calypso do miss it tho,anyway the buyer phoned me up yesterday to say its started kangerooing in first gear and he has to keep the revs up he also told me he,d filled up with super unleaded would this cause the problem.

If it is a diesel, yes. Otherwise, I shouldn’t think so.

‘Super fuel’ in this context presumably means higher RON 98 or 99 vs 95. It makes it less likely to preignite under compression and heat prior to spark so is less likely to cause knock or super knock. That’s more an issue for small turboed efficient engines anyway.

Kangarooing sounds more like he’s not got the hang of the clutch to me.

Sorry 1900 dg petrol,hes had it for 3 months so should of got used to it by now .

Agree that after 3 months it’s a problem he should be looking at himself. If the gearbox is full of sawdust then he might want to come back to you...
