VW T25 speedo cables

Post by BackForMore »

Hiya,

The normally reliable JustKampers mislabelled all of their screw in speedo cables as push fit, hence they sent me the wrong one.

Does anyone know if the drive cable can be inter-changed? ie, can I slide out my old drive cable and put it into the existing sheath?

They aren't called Just Krappers for nothing - they have a poor reputation on here.
No the cable cannot be withdrawn.
Buy from the co-founder of this site https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/t3-parts/c ... ables.html they only sell what fits and best available quality. JK is a last resort after all others don't have it.

New cable successfully ordered from Brickwerks. Thanks for that!

But I have found JustKampers to be absolutely spot on in the past, and refund without quibble, so I personally have no complaints with them. When I contacted them about this they immediately held their hands up and refunded. You can't really ask for any more.

Thanks for this post I found screw on speedo cable for LHD T25 online at Brickwerks. Was told they were discontinued at  Justkampers and every other supplier I tried and only clip-on available.  Fingers crossed its the right one when it arrives. Big thank you.

Yet I haven't dealt with them for 10, because of lots of problems that I can recall.
