I'm replacing the radiator but need the card board type material that goes around the edge ive found a 3 piece set for about £55 but has anyone made them cheaper or can recommend an alternative

That's getting cheaper but typical not in stock - good job the air is cold at the moment

OE baffles make things rust.
Make them out of the sign board.

I read something on here that recomended not using them . Ive not had any fitted for a couple of years now and had no probs.
it's a bloody expensive piece of cardboard :roll:

VW along with every other vahicle manufacturer wouldnt have bothered desining, making and fitting them if they had no functional value.
They stop air going around the ends of the rad matrix instead of through it as intended.
