Brake pedal not fully returning

Hi all, noticed that my brake pedal is not fully returning and after braking I am having to put my foot under to fully release the brakes, cant see a return spring, is there one? only needs moving a cm or so, any ideas?

Cheers Jeff, cant really make it out is it in the joint, cant see it as a spare part, do I need to replace whole pedal? Gary

Had the same issue with mine a while back, not much fun returning your pedal with the toes all the time!
As a temp job I drilled a hole on the metal beam above the pedal and fitted a bolt and put a spring to the pedal so it returned, did the job but boy that was a stiff pedal. I doubt you be able to see the spring but feel around the top of the pedal and if it's there you'd feel it. Mine was rusted due to a leaking window seal and I had the whole pedal box replaced, not a job I'd recommend unless you wanna take off the complete dash. My advice would be to check weather the spring is still in place and go from there.

turns out just needed the front callipers freeing up, and the rear drums feeing up all had seized up a bit where body shop guys had left it standing. all good now, thanks to Haynes Brothers Wallingford.
