Hello all can I ask where do I look for the engine code dg and so on

Assuming the engine you are looking at is installed in a bus,
Open the number plate flap, peer in , and directly behind the alternator belt you will see a vertical black cylinder
( That will be the oil breather tower) on the base of this where it bolts to the engine casing is a flat oblong , the engine number should be on there.
