Mike Plompen's Syncro cabrio was brought to the event on a flatbed truck. Mike admitted he didn't think it'd make it through due to the engine being knackered, but they managed to keep it going somehow.

Some Belgian guys arrived late in convoy late on the Friday night with four or five offroad buggies based on VW Iltis running gear.
