Ok so ive found the problem with my diesel engine ive got a duff injector.
Ive taken it out but i cant find the copper washer that should be there, it never leaked before so when i put the replacement in should i need to put a washer in as well.
Plus should i get the injector refurbed or just buy a new one.
Oh the engine is a golf 1.9 non turbo diesel.

the washer or flame trap is grey, are you sure its not just covered in gunk?
