1.7d to 1.9 Tdi

Post by T3Aljezur »

Hello all
I have recently purchased a tired 1.7d crewcab (KY engine)
I have a T4 with a tdi engine in from a golf 3 (ahu) which I did about 3 months ago.
I would like to fit another ahu into the crewcab.
I cannot seem to find any info on the electrical side of things and was wondering where to look.
The T4 was a doddle with the guides on the T4 forum, and was hoping to find something similar here.
Any help would be appreciated.
I beleive I will also need an oil pickup and a sump from a JX. Is that correct?
I understand the gearbox is a straight swap. Again is this correct?
Thanks in advance

you need t25 gearbox and mounting
jx type sump and oil pump with pickup pipe, if mounting at 55 degrees
best use tdi flywheel non DM, vr6 pressure plate and 2.1 drive plate.
Lots of info available on this
