HI i need to lock the flywheel to undo its bolts

HI i need to lock the flywheel to undo its bolts as the crank seal is leaking behind
1.9 1y diesel
whats the best way to lock it .... and do i need new bolts?

on a air or petrol watercooled t3 you can use a flywheel lock not shure about diesels as i dont do diesels

stick an impact gun on it should free the bolts without locking it

Or if you don't have an impact gun a socket on a Tbar and a sharp whack with a hammer on the end of the bar normally cracks them no problem.

You do need to fit new bolts when you replace it.

I got a long steel bar and drilled 2 holes matching clutch bolts...worked a treat
