I’m in Hampshire, currently converting mine from petrol to diesel , similar to you , I added the rear plates , there’s some pictures in my thread , where in Hampshire are you ?

The photo is of the diesel requirement thats spot welded to the rear crossmember.

How you getting on ?
Good! Engine is in, made the mistake of dropping the engine in first then bolting up the gearbox, but its all in now! Not running yet but that's next weekends task!

Yes galvanised along with many other parts.
