I have a mTDI AFN from a '98 passat fitted in my panel bus (not by me), it has a mechanical pump from a Kia Sedona 2.9 and the original turbo (I believe its a K14). Max boost I see is around 0.7 bar (10psi). It drives pretty good but suffers on the motorway hills especially in the hotter climates (can drop to 50mph), revs just seem to die off.
Am I right in thinking the AFN should provide more than enough torque for this not to be a problem? If so can anyone recommend a good diesel tuner who could take a look for me? I'm based in the North West but don't mind travelling. I tried calling Diesel Bob but he's currently only tuning standalone components.
Cheers,
Simon
