AAZ/ABL injector fuel lines

Post by kevin930 »

Hi guys
I have a fractured AAZ injector fuel line to cylinder no:2 and am finding a replacement really hard to source. I have come across a set for a ABL engine and they look identical, does anyone know if they are compatible at all.

Hi
Just a follow up about my recent fractured fuel line. Unable to track down a replacement locally, I eventually found one in France via a firm called Mechatechnic. Ordered on Tuesday afternoon and arrived Thursday afternoon at a total cost of £49 including delivery. The pipe was a genuine VW part and not as I feared a patent part. A straight swop for damaged pipe and all back up and running.

The trouble with AAZ engines is there are a few different sets, I got bored of trying to work out which had what!
Looks like you dropped lucky and got the right one!
I do have a good sample set here on an engine that I hope to send away and get re-made but that won't be till the end of the year.
