Yes agreed I bought a new engine a month or two ago, in the process of swapping it now. This engine is toast.

Not sure I never removed the sprocket before the install.

Although investigating the broken engine I’ve also found the cam sprocket was loose, so I assuming the cam sprocket came loose first which threw the engine into lock
